Day 1 Live Blogging – World Future Society Conference

In Vancouver, BC for the World Future Society’s annual conference. It’s Friday night at 8:45 pm and the Futurists BetaLaunch has just opened up. Disruptathon is being used throughout the forum via iPad Kiosks to collect votes for the 12 beta launchers that are here exhibiting. About 150 people here now, many more on the way.

About 200+ in the BetaLaunch forum now. Every inventor station is bustling, I’m next to Kes Sampanthar of Cynergy who is very busy discussing his theories and upcoming book on motivational design.

Almost 10pm, thinning out but there’s still a lot of buzz for being so late, especially for all us east coasters attending.

Great start to the weekend. We look forward to updating day 2 activities in the BetaLaunch.
