Zerion Software Platform Provided to Aid Haiti Recovery
January 31st, 2010 by Pete Erickson

Zerion Software, developer of the Disruptathon ratings system, is providing it’s Exzact data collection and iFormbuilder platform at no charge to aid humanitarian relief workers in Haiti. The system allows field workers to use iPhones running the ExZact lite (or the Disruptathon app) to document the status of infrastructure and services such as schools, hospitals, utilities and emergency services.

The iPhone forms workers will use were designed by several relief organization and government agency volunteers at the January 30th CrisisCampDC meeting. The Haiti specific effort is part of CrisisCommons.org, a grass roots movement to improve data collection, access, sharing and integrity for the benefit of improved humanitarian relief.
